The Company Cares

Pros

Easily take PTO with no issues, at one point 3 people on my team took it at once. Obviously depends who you report directly to, but my manager was very easygoing, reasonable, and set clear goals for his team. Company culture seems to be pretty good and they have a strong customer-first mindset as well as taking care of employees. They worked with my university schedule and allowed me to WFH when necessary which I was very grateful for

Cons

Month end brings long hours, not awful usually an extra 7-10 hours added to the week, but this depends heavily on your team. Some of the people in payroll were staying until 1am and working Saturdays, which sounds insane to me. Can't complain about pay as I was bumped up in salary after two months due to performing well.

Not a Trustful Company

Pros

If you like RV’s then this job could be enjoyable

Cons

This company will sell you with the idea that there is plentiful leads coming in and that you have the potential to make $2500 in bonuses (40 secured units). There is a constant overhang of making 8 calls an hour minimum, and 15 units secured monthly minimum. There are plenty of leads, however, Motor Home Specialist is very greedy with their fees therefore a lot of the people you speak with will want to go right down the street to Camping World which also gives higher offers. There is no system in place for these leads, such as IDS. You will also be expected to purchase your own ink and printer. There is also no paid maternity leave at this company and you do not accrue PTO for 120 days. There are two health plans options, both of which are HMO. You also only get 2 major holidays off a year. If you enjoy RV’s and sales, then this might be a job for you, however the turnover rate here should be an obvious sign.
