Pros

-Good group of very intelligent and motivated people. -Interesting and challenging projects, and no lack of them. -Working environment is top notch. -Getting what you need to accomplish a task is expedient and easy. -The recruiting and interviewing process is stringent, but ensures that you will be working with qualified and passionate people. -Benefits and pay are OK. Other nice perks like weekly lunches and furnished kitchen. -IT department is the best I have ever seen at a company. -Best of all: You can bring your dog to work.

Cons

-While the pay and benefits are acceptable, they could be better. The management and HR knows that people will sacrifice great benefits and pay to work at a place like Blue Origin. This is especially true for employees recently out of school. The raise system is average-or-below, and does little to elevate pay for these employees, thus forcing them to consider making moves to other companies to accomplish this. -Management structure is very flat, and new management positions are rarely filled from within, all of which makes upward movement near impossible. Pair this with the first bullet point, and things can start to feel very stagnant, especially for younger employees.

Pros

Fun place and good people. A very challenging place to work. If you are into space flight this is a great place to be. Good benefits.

Cons

A very demanding work schedule. Some of the scheduling is very unrealistic. They have very aggressive goal the are trying to meet and still have a small work force to do it.

Pros

The work environment with peers was positive and lots of passionate people working the Blue Origin mission. There were opportunities to network outside of working hours to help the communal feel and bonding.

Cons

Most managers were thrown into their positions without clear understanding of what the independent contributors under them work on. With extreme growth, the company became too bureaucratic and political. Consistent benefits, but unequal promotion and pay applied to a select few.
