Great Place to Work!

Pros

Excellent working environment Good Pay Good Benefits A mission I can stand behind There are far too many negative reviews on Glassdoor.com that do not accurately represent the company as a whole. Is Blue Perfect? No. However, I have been in the aerospace industry for 13 years and this is by far the best job I have ever had. Blue brings passion back into my work everyday and I feel very fortunate to be working around incredibly smart people who share the same passion.

Cons

Aerospace is a difficult industry to navigate through. At times there are frustrations just like any other industry or company. However, nothing during my 6 mo here at Blue would warrant a negative review of the company.

Pros

Amazing goals, about one of the only two places you can work that's actively developing new rocket engines and an orbital launch vehicle. Decent work-life balance, 4 weeks PTO, gym access, company provided snacks, daily food trucks and lunch delivery service at the company headquarters. Also, a wealth of experienced engineers and other technical people for new employees to learn from. Company culture generally values learning and doing things the right way.

Cons

Deadlines can be very short, the organization is growing quickly. Workspace is tight, organization is still a work in progress, things like standardized, company-wide databases are still in-progress. Exact needed working hours are vague and left up to the employee.
