Pros

Pay is in alignment with aerospace industry, which is better than other industries.

Cons

Far and away the worst place to be an engineer. No real analysis is done, a lot of expectation to figure out how to prove your bosses idea right. Company politics run rampant, and the systems aren't mature enough to allow you to be effective. Everyone says "it's cool to work on rockets" but we broke ground at "rocket Park" in Cape Canaveral almost a decade ago and have built exactly one rocket. You don't work on rockets here, you get to watch first hand what a failing business looks like, except there's enough money in the bank that we don't have to actually figure out how to succeed. Culture reflects leaders we've taken from SpaceX, Amazon, and Boeing, so you can imagine there's a lot of "do more with less" along with cutting corners, seeing people as expendable, and we even picked up some of the engineering and project management habits that have had Boeing in the news. Recommend you look elsewhere, there's great companies in the area.

Pros

It was great working for Blue a few years ago when it was a smaller company, it really felt like a family. Everyone at my level and lower were and still are great to work with. Pay is good if you're all about getting your soul sucked dry and not having a family life.

Cons

The company got bigger and managers started a culture of only looking out for themselves. The unrealistic expectations from above put fear into managers, killing any leadrship growth. They just managed to just ensure rate was being met. The new CEO brought a very cold and selfish culture from Amazon and killed the commoradarie and sense of pride in belonging to what use to be a great thing to be a part of.

Pros

Dogs in office, mission, some benefits

Cons

Terrible leadership, lack of transparency, not a great place for parents/caregivers, unhealthy careerism and plagued with social climbers, while there are some awesome people, there are tons of individuals masquerading as competent people.
