Pros

The pay is pretty good and the technical aspects of the work are easy. Management are usually easy to impress.

Cons

No vision for what the products should be or what the company should be doing, we just jump to chase whatever SpaceX announced last. The culture is big on shooting the messenger, so all managers have an incentive to lie to look good and derail work to chase the whims their own management overpromised on. As a consequence, the higher ups who make *all* of the decisions don't know where the problems are and try to solve it by micromanaging. No one will ever leave their own silo, and you'll be punished if you try. Dangerous decisions by VPs go unchallenged because they'll make someone's metrics look good.

Pros

Blue pays well and has good benefits. The insurance is really good. The office is very nice. Free lattes, nice fitness areas, and other small details are appreciated. You also get to work with pretty cool hardware and fancy production environments and tools.

Cons

The company is run by clowns. If you can go to work, do what you're told, and leave, then you'll be ok. But if you are someone who challenges bad decisions, it will be a constant fight. And you will lose. They keep demanding more and more hours worked and 5 days a week in the office with no additional pay. They don't care if it helps or if it makes sense. If you have literally nothing to do and no reason to come in, they don't care. Come in and act like you're working.
