Agriculture is on the cusp of a massive robotics/data-driven revolution and Blue River is right at the center of it. Basically this is the company that was/is farthest along in terms of applying CVML to farming, and now that we have been acquired by Deere that combines the Blue River team/approach with the world #1 Ag equipment manufacturer - that's a potent combination. The integration has been smooth and Deere has done a good job of keeping the fast/innovative nature of Blue River by keeping us pretty isolated. In my role I work with the Deere team frequently and they have been great. Really the sky is the limit in terms of opportunity here and it is just a matter of prioritization and execution. The team is growing quickly, which leads to some headaches, but in general these are being managed. I should add there is a strong mission element here - our first product should reduce spray (pesticide) usage by >80% and in general we are helping farmers be more productive and profitable by doing more with less.
