Pros

Allowed to work from home most days. Required one day a month.

Cons

The 401k match is a joke. PTO accrual is insulting. And the kicker? I work for a health insurance company and still have to pay for health insurance. Let that sink in. They “restructured” salary bands recently—a convenient excuse to push people further down the pay scale. I was hired at mid-range. After the restructure, I magically landed at the bottom of the new range. When I brought this up and asked to be paid what I’m worth (around $120k), my boss had the audacity to say, “Giving you more money is a hard one for me to swallow.” Meanwhile, they’re raking in hundreds of thousands more than me. So now I give them exactly what they pay for: low-range effort for a low-range salary. If you’re thinking of bringing your talent here, do yourself a favor—don’t. They’ll exploit your skills, gaslight you when you ask for fair compensation, and then act shocked when you stop going above and beyond.
