Pros

Excellent work/life balance and the growth opportunities from within are just a few of the reasons I love working for bluemercury. I was given the opportunity to manage one of our luxurious location and was quickly promoted from within. I love the skincare and makeup industry and after years of working for many different companies, I have finally found one that I can call home.

Cons

I haven't personally experienced any cons but as a company employees need to understand that we are all here to help each other out with any concerns from within.

Pros

Competitive wages Fun and exciting atmosphere Lots of opportunity for growth Innovative lines Small business feel with corporate backing Opportunity to sell trendy and high end products and spa services

Cons

I've been with the company since it was only 12 doors. My training happened as I went along. With over 50 non company brands, we are not always given the trainings necessary by a lot of these vendors. associates need to be proactive in keeping up with product knowledge and sales techniques. I know that the company is currently investing time and money in revamping all training programs to streamline this process.
