Pros

I am lucky enough to work with great girls. I love the store, the gratis & it's a lovely environment to go to everyday. There is only One Esthetician & one room. I love the services & non competative vibe.

Cons

I got started at $13 an hour, or commission of 50%, whichever is higher. Once your already committed they tell you it's only for 3 months then you go down to... gasp. Minimum wage!??? And iy's only 40% under a Certain amount, I think $4,000. Sad. It was nice to have at least that much of a cushion because in the beginning I would pretty much break even, or commission would be just a little higher. It takes a good year to get faithful, clients who are steady & come back so They should not take the original pay down. The makeup artists get anywhere from $18 - 20. An hour, I sell as much skin care, but get no credit, I have brought people out after an eyebrow wax & shaped their eyebrows further with a pencil/ shadow, the client is so excited, that they want me to suggest more.. they buy everything. They don't have Estheticians ring up anything on the register, which is stupid, because it's a rare day that you have back to back services. Half the time I'm on the floor giving skin care advice, introducing myself, and selling. Bottom line- They need to pay way bett

Benefits are too expensive. You are told the days you can have off.
