      There is nothing positive about this place. Everything is bad-any good review is a lie. Everyone who works here is miserable

      Schedule was never posted, but no one actually shows up for work, so you wound have to figure it out on your own.

      minimum wage pay and no advertising for estheticians. the people at the top are the worst. fake and the owner is greedy.

      It's so lame for this company that their only real perk is gratis. THE GRATIS COMES FROM THE VENDORS SOLD IN YOUR STORE. NOT FROM BLUEMERCURY.... so this "pro" is a kudos to the brands themselves. Not the actual store.

      Cons

      You're hired without being given full info on benefits and pay. ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS. They will purposefully not tell you things. Like, no paid holidays, no time and a half, you'll work every Sunday and Saturday, requesting time off is punishable. This company does NOT set you up for success or value you AS A HUMAN BEING. They have very very high turnover because of their "scrappiness". Their DIRECTOR OF STORES ask their new hire managers to come on here and write good reviews at the end of the "new manager training". Hence the spurts of good reviews. MACY's now owns Bluemercury. Hopefully they will recognize how rotten the BM corporate structure is and they'll make MUCH more money when their people on the field are happy.
