Pros

Amazing opportunities for growth, fantastic products, super entrepreneurial. You have a real chance to influence the future of the company & have your ideas heard & implemented. It’s super fast paced & there is a lot to do but if you are organized and great with people, you will love it here.

Cons

Very last minute sometimes (nature of being entrepreneurial) on rolling things out. Processes need more work. Computer system getting better!

Pros

After reading unflattering reviews on Glassdoor, I was a little skeptical of applying for a position with Bluemercury when I saw a recent posting. But since I love makeup and Im a beauty junkie, with retail experience I thought I would give it a try. Easy interview and within a week I was hired. My first day I was greeted by the store Mgr., given a small gift bag of samples, a name tag and we were knee deep in training. 3 months later and the sparkle has not rubbed off. I’m so glad I didn’t allow the negative comments to dampen my spirits. My store Mgr and fellow team members are really enthusiastic and create a party everyday. My DM is a little strict but she is all about the business and is passionate. She loves hearing our favorite tip and trick and is a true leader. Upper Mgmt is very hands on and is present. We are given goals and tools to succeed. If you put your heart and soul, skill and will you and your team can hit bonus.

Cons

Need more social media and marketing to drive more business to the stores.
