Micromanaging Stressful environment You do a lot of things, like calling other stores to get product from them. Their fulfillment system doesn’t work.

If you are just starting out in retail or are looking for a part-time job while at school, it is great. Pay is okay and scheduling is usually good depending on managers.

Cons

I worked throughout a couple stores during my time there. Management in one store was always on a power trip. This was my first time working retail, and one of my managers took advantage of that. I would build up sales just to have them stolen during checkout by my manager. I worked there one week when I was left in the store alone so that my manager could go shopping. This is not okay and completely against protocol. This manager used my transfer as a way to keep me quiet and not stand up for myself.
