Pros
Co-Workers. That’s literally it. The pay is decent if you’re okay with less than ethical sales tactics. Lots of opportunities for advancement because everyone quits or gets fired within a few months.
Cons
When I started at BluFox, I spent my two weeks of training watching camera recordings because the manager training me was stealing deposits. We had four district managers in my first two months because one was a fill in who made it to my store twice, one quit in training, one backed out of starting, and the third was a self proclaimed recovered heroin addict who chewed on his own shirt when in the store. He quit a month later. The fifth DM was the DM who previously decided not to change companies. He ACTUALLY had decent ideas and coaching. We had plans to turn the store around. Mind you, even in a state of constant upheaval my store went from four overworked employees closing at 0.8% mobile/1.3% fiscal for a whopping $21,000 GP to seven employees and back down to five employees closing at 2% mobile/4.2% fiscal for a $51,000 GP trend. Still not amazing but progress in a very bad situation. One of the seven employees put in his two weeks notice and no one started recruiting until his last day at the store because I “needed to stay focused on pushing sales” and the DM would handle recruiting. We FINALLY got someone hired and they fired me without notice when our managers were told that a lack of performance would lead to being put on a final. I wasn’t even given that courtesy even though I turned the store into the districts top performer until my friend took over the other high volume location. This company doesn’t care one about you or what you’ve done. One of the DM’s posts a “Loser’s List” every day of stores that didn’t perform. They don’t care about morale, they don’t care about you, all they care about is immediate change. I was penalized for their poor decision making in leadership.
