Pros

Global Company with a long history. If you are lucky and belong to a healthy group, it is simply wonderful. 100%

Cons

Functional areas are either really great or extremely dysfunctional . I happen to be in a dysfunctional one. Think Pharma of the 90's. A subculture of systematic exclusion and microaggressions.

Pros

Management still sends out paychecks, for now...

Cons

Company is in major contraction mode with many layoffs and more likely. Respiratory franchise is a mess and near the end of it's useful life. No new respiratory drugs on horizon. New business structure is ridiculous, at least in Colorado, with the Health System Business Specialists (HSBS) being mostly incompetent from Manager to representatives. Current structure pits reps against reps with little or no team integrations, basically a free-for-all. I would strongly advise looking else where if you are a considering BI for employment, at any level.

Pros

1. Generous PTOs 2. The campus in Ridgefield is spacious and beautiful 3. Hybrid mode of working, as long as your role allows 4. Good work/ life balance

Cons

1. The management (both top and middle) is lacking a strategic direction on what and how to develop. 2. People seem to be moving in and out a lot during my two years of employment there, including senior scientists and management. 3. Science is usually done in an old-school way. New thoughts and new technologies don't usually get appreciated or utilized. 4. The company does very little to develop employees' skillsets and knowledge of the field. 5. Promotion path is not well defined.
