Crude, degrading, and disgusting
Pros
When they tell you that the biscuits are made from scratch, that is all true. I also started out at 7.75 an hour instead of 7.25 like surrounding franchises such as McDonalds or Wendys'.
Cons
Food was often held over the legal hold time. Not enough hours for the stress. I was publicly degraded by my manager and fellow staff because my manager didn't like me. Lies about chicken not being frozen because I brushed tons of ice off before I'd put them in the fryer. Disgusting work environment. Yelled at when I refused to hold food over the hold time limits. Had only a half day of training. Was blamed when someone complained about hard biscuits that were held longer than they were supposed to be even though its not my job to hand out the biscuits or put them together so I never knew when they'd be too hard. Would work ten hour shift with no break even when other crew members received theirs. I was told that my shift was almost over so I didn't need one. Yelled out for not knowing how to do something because I wasn't trained to do it or I was never told where to locate the items. I was forced to quit by my family because I would cry when I would get home and often before I went in to work. No room for a raise because to get a raise you had to be trained in more than one station but they hardly ever allowed that.
