Pros
We made it through a merger that could have been much harder/more complicated and now are seeing the benefits of a much more robust (and global) company, so it is really exciting. Company culture is strong and leadership seems to value employee well-being by continuing to improve benefits, offering paid volunteer time etc., and putting on events to encourage camaraderie. It can get busy and the workload ebbs and flows, but overall the amount of new projects reflects that the company is doing well and people are putting in the work.
Cons
We had some speed bumps merging the companies from a technical standpoint with a large migration, but we are past that hurdle now. Priorities can shift and sometimes the trickle-down can be slow, so you are playing catch up.
