1. Low package :
single digit hikes ,followed by multiple excuses
2. No vision for growth :
No project in coming times leads to chaos ,employees are forced to switch the projects where they cant utilize their skill set ,
developers are told to do testing and testers are told to do the documentation .
3.Poor infrastructure:
Office is situated outside city ,no food is provided by company and no good food options available nearby .
No snacks & paid tea and coffee options.
No cab facility and its hard to get any taxi from the office location.
Vadodara has no public transport system and you have to take autos to work ,which are shared by many others.
Small washrooms and Call center type sitting arrangements .
4.Only maintenance work:
Contrary to what employer says , the work over here is all maintenance and it doesn't require any serious skill set .
You will be doing the same work again and again , till European sites runs out of work .
4.Low cost center :
India is treated as a low cost center and BT doesn't want to invest in employee which is clearly shown in their poor employee policy.
5.Ever Changing policies :
You will never know when a policy has changed and why it has changed , its is related to every process available at BT ,wether its hike , phone bill reimbursements .house brokerage etc.
6.Fake HR policies :
Please take everything in written before joining this company as HR will give you fake policy at time of joining and they will immediately take a U turn when you ask them in person . In some cases written evidence have also been not considered .
7.No clear role /path:
You can be assigned to any task or role even it doesn't matches your skill set or designation . They want to get the job done in any way.You can be asked to come for multiple weekends and there will be no extra pay or comp off for the same.
8. ill treated Laterals:
Laterals will be used to do all the work and college pass-outs will be provided with all the goodies, onsite and good hikes.
There are people who are working in BT for past 5 years and they still have less pay then the college fresher.
9.Loyalty :
It is a crime to be loyal at BT , the more you grow old at BT , the less you will be credited for your work , the less you will be payed , the less you will be appreciated and the less you will be considered for promotions .
They have no plans for employee betterment and training. you learn when you do things is their motto and hence no proper hand over from European sites and still they want you to finish jobs in time .
