Pros

- fully stocked kitchen - state of the art equipment - electronic records

Cons

- Doctors work off production, which means they are constantly pushing for diagnostics which may not be necessary at that time point of care. Not all of the doctors are like this though..unfair to the client which doctor happens to take appointment. Witnessed doctors bully clients into purchasing diagnostics that could have appropriately staged out according to pet clinical signs and history. - Understaffed and overbooked all the time but unwilling to turn off appointments, or at least nurse visits, again because of need to meet production. This is false in their job descriptions. - Witnessed little to no patient recovery post surgery. - Has a giant TV in all treatment rooms to show how people are rating their experience with their doctor , nurse and experience. This is completely inappropriate. No one needs to see that rather than upper management. - clients can be abusive to staff, leave a bad review but marketing team reaches out with a gift for them to remove the bad review. Clear lack of respect for their team. - A lot of talk of burnout and how they care, but directly contributes to it in many ways such as refusing to let the in clinic staff control the schedule, overbooking and double booking, and no standard of care. It’s easy to say we aren’t busy and can see more appointments when sitting in a luxury office while real people are eating a 5 minute lunch with an animals blood on their hands because we couldn’t waste the 1 minute to wash our hands or sacrifice being able to eat at all. - Forced overtime and coming in early for surgery. This was not in the job description when applying for the job.
