      Pros

      Remote work available Ability to move around the country There are some good clients

      Cons

      HR and upper management are unethical Managers harass remote employees to move and go into the office for REMOTE hires 4 weeks maternity leave (it’s not 1950) 15 days vacation, less than I had as a federal employee Inflexible work schedules High turnover is due to culture which is the elephant in the room Your CM is a large factor in your ability to move up in the company so if they are disconnected or do the bare minimum you’re screwed Inappropriate workplace behavior is tolerated and dismissed even with multiple witnesses

      they make promises about career development, growth opportunities, etc.

      Cons

      I was promised a raise when transitioned into a new role. Did not get it meanwhile our new area of relocation had a high cost of living. As a result I had to find work elsewhere. Found out later that Booz Allen marked me ineligible for rehire even though my leaving the company was due to their empty promises and incompetency. Only reason I found out was recruiters reached out and then confirmed with me

      Pros

      Willing to hire you to work off-site and pay you to wait until you get building clearance and is very patient with issues or getting you on the team. Good benefits, good hours, friendly on-site staff, a lot of resources to move laterally in the company, a good place for networking, and pays well and does it utmost to give you reasons to stay onboard for the long term. Amazing work-life balance that has senior staff telling you to not to overwork yourself because they are cognizant burnout is bad for the long term and employee happiness means they will contribute long term and feel valued.

      Cons

      Most of the cons are related to the customer and how they make decisions that can adversely affect you while Booz is not necessarily able to control those factors given their status as the contractor that must bend to the needs of the customer. However, I believe this is remedied by the fact Booz will help you in finding new opportunities in the company.
