      numerous benefits options (good benefits - I've never had an issue) great people flexible hours company sponsored work life efforts good reputation

      Cons

      Hard to receive leadership responsiblities within top heavy teams Matrixed organization that limits ability to grow across expertise and functionality Increasing focus on utilization versus professional growth (especially for lower level staff)

      Good place to see what government contracting is like

      Pros

      Great place for an intern. The work atmosphere is competitive in a positive way; everyone want to do the best work possible for the client. Though their is movement in the firm to more commercial, most of the organization is still supporting the federal government, which is rewarding in its own right.

      Cons

      The time needed to complete your work is not always properly planned. You'll have some late nights when a project is due, but it's all worth it in the end.

      Good salary, good time off, flexible

      Cons

      Have to know the "secret handshake to move up". While comprehensive, the review process is in adequate in that reviewers are forced by upper management to write reviews to management desire, 360 assessment is a hoax, guidleines to be promoted beyong 3 is ambigious. Utilization policies not consistent with time charging "desires". While they preach total time accounting, there is an unwritten rule to donate time on proposals and admin.
