      Pros

      If you're looking for work-life balance this is the place to be. The pace is slow and there are minimal expectations. Since there is no "up and out policy", you can coast as long as you wish.

      Cons

      There is lack of strong leadership from both the senior and mid manager level. Most of the leadership is risk adverse and do not support the mentorship of junior staff. Instead of providing advisory services, Booz is most likely to just do whatever the client wishes. Lack of stimulating colleagues and leadership, makes this place a pretty mediocre.

      The flexibility offered by the job and the prestige of the firm.

      Cons

      Leadership varies WIDELY across the firm. The successful teams that are exciting to work on and offer professional growth oppportunitie are the ones that are managed by strong leaders. There are a few, less established teams that lack consumate leaders and it is evident that they have no vision or strategic direction for the team. It is also apparent that their employees are dissatisfied and turnover is is higher on those teams.
