Pros

Weekly pay, and that's about it. Medical not bad too.

Cons

They keep temps so they can slave them out and not pay them, they dont fix anything so your constantly troubleshooting. Very low pay.

Pros

Decent pay and great benefits

Cons

Culture and actual physicality of their office is from back in the 80's. People still use desk calculator and actual paper, physical files. There isn't any formal career pathing unless your lucky enough to work in a department with a good leader. Performance is judged by time spend at the office, not actual performance. There isn't any attempt to understand what people do or how well they do it. There isn't any incentive to be efficient as the people that spend the most time in the office are rewarded (which are usually the least skilled workers and are there long hours because they are using desk calculators and alphabetizing pieces of papers for physical filing). Management positions are used as rewards for long time, loyal employees, not necessarily strong leaders. My experience is that my manager was strictly focused on the tactical and as long as the job was getting done, there wasn't any interest in leveraging technology to gain efficiency. Compared to more progressive companies, they are very overstaffed for SGA positions because of these inefficiencies and resistance to new technology. I am currently working with other former employees of BW and all have had the same experience. They were underutilized and exciting challenges were non existent.
