Pros

Very competitive and generous benefit package.

Cons

Company is full of managers but very few leaders. Managers sit in their offices and show very little interest in their employees. This is evident in their culture as they do not do any career pathing and there is very little focus on employee or manager development. I was in a supervisory role for a year and was surprised that they did not offer any training or coaching for new leaders. They are thrown into the positions because they are good at the technical work and then not coached on how to be a leader. Performance is judged almost solely on how many hours you work. Process improvements or innovation is not at all valued. The more efficient you are, the less you will be paid. Also they are not at all flexible with your hours. Very little opportunity to work remotely, in fact it’s frowned upon.

Pros

Great opportunity for learning, you can learn how to do pretty much anything you want to while there, such as CNC and mills / lathes. It is a solenoid manufacturing facility, so there are many complex systems of manufacturing and test to improve your familiarity and skill. You will keep busy and after you become accustomed to the facility you will enjoy the job, at least in my experience. Great people to work with.

Cons

The floor smells rather pungent at first, but you get used to it. Earplugs are required on the floor, so it takes some time to manage that without getting ear infections. Expected to work more than 40 hours a week with no overtime pay (As salary employee).

Pros

Insurance. And here are words to fill up this space that should he near blank

Cons

Management is horrible. The work environment is horrible. Become one of the suck ups or you will not advance. Judgemental. This place was an excellent place to work several years ago. Now its like they purposefully try to run employees off and do spiteful things to ruin the company. Quality doesn't matter its all about quantity of the parts being produced. I myself refuse to buy borgwarner products.
