      Pros

      Lots of options to get international experience or to change divisions. Modern offices encourage collaboration. Company tries to do the right things for the employees, for the most part. Great people and motivated. Also focus on environment and corporate responsibility is more than just words.

      Cons

      management strategies seem inconsistent, at least in my area. Germany drives all decisions. Advancement only possible if you're a conformist. Also, we run lean, which is fine, but then the expectations need to align to that (ie don't expect my team of 9 to accomplish what really needs a team of 15).

      Pro-employee. Excellent benefits. Good core values and global management team.

      Cons

      Highly political management. Poor maternity/paternity benefits in US. Political climate allows lots of employees that contribute very little to remain employed.

      Diverse opportunities in various industries

      Pros

      Bosch offers many opportunities in various industries. It is a global company with a presence just about anywhere one might want to work. As a private company, the business leaders make decisions without the influence of investors.

      Cons

      While there is a strong presence in the U.S. and elsewhere, the headquarters are in Germany and that is where the more interesting engineering work gets done.
