Great company but needs help

Pros

Bosch is a very strong company with an even stronger brand recognition. Even outside of EU one feels good stating they are an employee .

Cons

Far too much bureaucracy. Germany's path and viewpoint of how NA should navigate for success simply does not work. NA consumer does not purchase with the same mindset as a European. Slacker employees are allowed to linger around and collect a check while hard workers receive increased tasks. Morale is very low and good talent only stays long enough to build resume. Such a shame as this company has so much more potential to be great.

Pros

Excellent benefits, great 401k match, mediocre but cheap insurance.

Cons

Management does not listen to experienced people. Things are done 'the Bosch way' and they don't work in the US market, requiring high pricing of their goods. Broadview, Il. offices seem to be set up as a location to send Germans for positions that could be filled by Americans. Many positions have been relocated to Mexico for lower wages.
