- Well managed, stable global company - Excellent working conditions - Excellent training programs available for associates - 3 weeks vacation after 2 years

Cons

- Much of major design guidelines set by parent company in Germany which limits autonomy of regional units to do based on their own experience. - Working in a support group within Bosch less desirable.

Aging Workforce Hinders Progress

Pros

Good salary, good location. Global corporate opportunities were available to personnel willing to take them. Bosch Production Systems three day training was top notch. There are a lot of initiatives for hiring younger personnel.

Cons

A majority of the people I worked with were within 5 years of retirement. There was not an apparent large push to recruit younger, fresh college grads.

Comparable $$ - Family life / work balance in some departments is good, some not - sadly following the rest of the world re: Benefits

Cons

Too many chiefs while the rest continue to be downsized and carry the load but not compensated even if it is only an atta-boy.
