Pros

Strong benefits, talented employees, great product discounts, inclusive culture. Trimming back on many commoditized skus and wasteful spending on "not invented here" initiatives will hopefully steady things and prevent future layoffs.

Cons

A stubborn insistence (and monitoring) on return to work soured many employees. Let people work in the ways they work best.

Pros

Working as an Art Director at Bose offers a unique intersection of creative freedom and purposeful design within a brand known for innovation and excellence. It’s an opportunity to shape the visual narrative of premium, cutting-edge audio products that resonate with a global audience. The role thrives at the crossroads of heritage and modernity, supported by a collaborative culture that values multidisciplinary thinking and craftsmanship. At Bose, design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about enhancing the emotional connection people have with sound. With a strong commitment to employee wellbeing, opportunities for growth, and access to industry-leading tools and products, it’s a place where visionary ideas are not only welcomed but amplified.

Cons

While Bose offers a rich creative environment, working within an established legacy brand can sometimes mean navigating layers of approval and adhering to strict brand guidelines, which may limit experimentation. The pace can vary, with periods of rapid production cycles that demand agility and resilience. Additionally, cross-functional collaboration—though rewarding—can occasionally introduce complexities in aligning creative vision with technical or business constraints.
