Bose reviews

This used to be a great place to work - even in IT! It has changed in lots of negative ways - especially by promotion of bosses pets into management. These people have no idea how to manage, and their bosses don't either. Unfortunate.

Bose was formerly driven by engineering. Over the years, it is slowly being controlled by the bean counters. Jobs are moving to Asia and there are periodic layoffs. What was once an agile, responsive company has become mired down in procedures, and a painfully slow, unfriendly corporate wide Product Life cycle Management system. Products take forever to come to market. Engineers wade through procedural standards instead of doing their job. Company is under constant attack from Asian engineered products being sold at a fraction of the price.
