Pros

Pension program and generous employee discount The fitness center located on site has a variety of equipment

Cons

No PTO is allowed to be taken during all of November and December Required to work 12 days straight through Thanksgiving, including the weekends with 830 am calls every day. This company does not care about you, your family, or personal time Culture of bullying with mean leaders micromanaging every project due to the lack of trust amongst staff/across departments Too many cooks in the kitchen that cause duplicative work with chaotic / inefficient processes Planned employee reductions every year and there is obvious favoritism. This also helps reduce those who may soon qualify for their pensions. It’s a bait and switch Culture is nonexistent in the Framingham office Expected to work on weekends and there’s a lack of work / life balance. They make people dial in for meetings while on PTO and expect you to be available at all times

Pros

- Pretty good pay and benefits - 50% discount on products - Fun trips to headquarters

Cons

- Heavy emphasis and pressure on sales teams (which I get), but this trickled down to pressure on lower level teams and brought un-needed stress in my opinion - The decision to focus on less products and less customers and focusing on best products and customers led to losing a ton of money (obviously) which lead to layoffs...not sure if it will pay off - Didn't recover production slow downs from Covid, didn't seem to be improving - Worked lots of nights and some weekends to make minor changes to make people happy - I think the quality of the product for the price was not great. The brand name makes the products more expensive, not the quality. So many technical issues and performance of products not much better than competitors even though everyone there thinks Bose is the best...it's really not.
