Bose does not offer competitive salaries based on Cost of Living. Instead, it averages the comparable salaries of other companies throughout the entire country. This means that in an area with a generally low cost of living you stand to earn a very good income, but you will struggle to get by in an area that has a high cost of living. They argue that the Team Based Sales commission evens it out, but the reality is that they are only offering a 0.003 to 1% Sales Commission!
