      Pros

      Pay... Was ok but was the only thing they could compete on. Middle mgmt was still trying... Staff too, but too many Directors and VP's promoted for political reasons rather than ability.

      Cons

      Career development is limited to the two weeks before your review where managers exchange barbs in a race to define the bottom 15%. HR is a joke. Completely outsourced and incompetent. Payroll errors, benefits errors that went on for months with little care for the impact to the employee

      Pros

      you might be interested to try this company as an intern, but this is it. You can get familiar with medical devices, firmware and software development, testing and releases. But this is it.

      Cons

      Right now there is no particular reason you'd like to join this company. Layoffs are happening twice a year, sometimes they are silent - you can only find out about it when somebody from coworkers will tell you. The management is self-centric and incompetent.

      Good people who want to make a difference

      Cons

      Tremendous amount of time spent on reorgs, thus skills that do not enhance a resume. People afraid of management causing herd mentality no matter what. Head down mentality until the economy improves. Good ole boys club. 2010 stock comp was pathetic and had no relationship to performance. Bonus cut , benefits cut and layoffs have nothing to do with the economy... someone has to pay for new CEO (2nd highest paid in America).
