Pros

Boston Scientific is in a good industry and offers a solid benefits package.

Cons

The IS Organization treats their employees poorly, quite frankly. You will never work so hard, deliver more results, and receive so little credit in the time you work there. There is a lack of appreciation for the unique value that every individual brings to the table. The IS organization had approx. 20% attrition through voluntary and involuntary terminations in 2010. A lot of great IS employees have left the building.

Pros

Fast money fast money travis and Danielle

Cons

Working at Boston Scientific is like being trapped in a never-ending nightmare. Sure, they might dangle the promise of fast money, but the reality is a toxic work environment where your every move is monitored. It's exhausting and demoralizing. The micromanagement is unreal. You can't even take a breath without someone watching you. It's not a place that fosters creativity or growth—it's all about control and fear. The only saving grace are a couple of decent managers, Travis and Danielle, who actually seem to care about their team. But even they can't save this sinking ship. If you're considering a job here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are plenty of companies out there that value their employees and offer a healthier work-life balance. Boston Scientific is not one of them. Get a real job and spare yourself the headache

One size fits all approach to hybrid work isn't working.

Pros

Great culture, good benefits, interesting work and amazing mission.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunities for advancement despite it being a large company. Recently announced three mandatory days in the office for hybrid working, which will without a doubt decrease morale. Given how well the company is performing, it doesn't make sense. I'm sure they considered that they will lose people (especially working parents) to other orgs offering more flexibility by doing this, but they must be okay with that.
