Pros

• Decent salary. • Decent Benefits. • Experience working in a large site. • Great variety of work. • Some really smart colleagues working here. • Galway site going through a significant growth cycle.

Cons

• Majority of staff are on contracts from resourcing companies without benefits & with differing rates of pay and limited opportunity to convert to permanency. • A lot of old legacy code that will never be updated due to risk and FDA regulation. • Manufacturing mentality means a Software Engineer is a resource and there will rarely ever be more than one Software resource assigned to a project. • Software Development processes and architecture are not treated with any importance and are non-existent. • As mentioned above the manufacturing mindset also means there is rarely any downtime. • Personal boundaries are not respected in my experience. Employees are very likely to be contacted on their personal phones outside hours or while they are on annual leave. • Working weekends\long hours is a norm in this organisation and as such it is taken for granted. • It's an old boys club. An example of this is that out of about 8 to 10 directors only HR has a female director. • Significant amount of staff turnover.

Pros

If you are at a main company site (I believe mostly in Minnesota) or at a site they decide to keep, it appears to be a well run, well funded place with classes and conferences to help you stay current. If you are at an acquired company, they will tell you how valued you are. You may get continued employment for some time, and they provide some outplacement support and severance when they lay you off.

Cons

Hunter-gatherer, with companies and products as prey. If you are at a company that is acquired and don't want to move to Minnesota (extremes of -40°F and 110°F humid), start looking for work. They come in friendly, learn about your products, then transfer the profitable ones to Minnesota or offshore, kill any that don't have high enough ROI, and lay everyone off with various amounts of warning. Not sure whether you will get to design anything new. If there is any next-generation product development or work to keep them updated, I am not aware of it.

Pros

This company is situated on sohna road gurgaon .Company Infrastructure is good .They have two floors occupied .R&D department is quite good but IT dept is okayish .

Cons

They have hired certain managers and Tech leads who do not have much knowledge .They dont know how to deal with their US counterparts, they dont know how to behave with associates working under them .There is a tech lead in IT department who bullies associates and start shouting on them and the funny part is if you raise the issue , nobody is there to listen you , infact they can do stupid politics and compel you to resign from the company. If you raise the issue with managers or HR , then you might be at the risk of loosing job. They give stupid papers on which they call as 'PIP ' and gives you lame reasons on that sheet that why they are putting you on PIP.
