Pros

Everyone is very nice and usually says hi as you pass them in the building. Not a ton of stress in this work environment.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say.

Pros

I was lucky to get a teaching fellowship which included full tuition reimbursement, plus a generous stipend, which meant a free master's degree. It was a fantastic experience and I got to put two years of teaching on my resume, which is great

Cons

All my negative experiences are specific to my particular department and one or two specific people, so it's not fair to put that on BU. Although one thing that does drive me nuts about BU (and many large private universities like it) is the allocation of funds for ridiculous athletic facilities instead of academic purposes.
