If you're into the sorts of things they sell, you'll have a good time. You'll have a lot in common with the people who work there and the people who shop there. It's not very hard (basic retail), and the managers don't rule with an iron fist.

Cons

Hours were always pretty low, typically under 15.

Excellent company culture. Strongly values diversity in all forms. High percentage of female store managers in my district. Lots of communication with higher-ups. Company recently increased minimum starting wage for sales associates and expanded insurance benefits to all members of management, full time and part time. Felt very cared for during the pandemic. Strong visual merchandising presentation. Solid advancement and relocation opportunities. Recently shifted focus in a big way to employee recognition and celebrating successes and improving the internal and external experience. Overall an awesome place to work.

Cons

Pay scales are still not as competitive with the market as they should be. Recent distribution issues have presented a challenge in inventory levels post-pandemic. Sometimes a little too slow hopping on product/license trends.
