Pros

-Met really cool people with similar interests -I love my store management! No drama, no pettiness; just folks vibing -Surrounded by stuff you love and have a passion for -30% off all merchandise -40% off all Hot Topic merchandise -Can vibe with customers who ALSO have a similar love for pop culture -Easy going job with a pretty flexible schedule for people with a second job/school -Not a competitive work environment compared to other retail chains

Cons

-No yearly pay raise -Hours depend on the sales you make so you really have to put yourself out there -Not much room for growth within the company (if that's what you're looking for) -some management positions get worked to the bone and only for $0.50 more than what sales associates make -You have to haggle with customers to make them sign up for loyalty -Hours depend on the sales you make so you really have to put yourself out there

Pros

there's a lot of lgbt people on the staff which is nice

Cons

awful pay, awful scheduling, they refuse to offer you more than a 2% raise, continue to list you as part time despite working you 36-40 hours weekly. Getting paid $10 to be second in command shouldn't be allowed.
