Support services employees are treated like second class citizens

Pros

If you work in direct patient care, there are teams that do really well. But support services is underfunded, underpaid and short staffed. The physicians and nurses that run the organization don't understand support service work and everyone suffers as a result.

Cons

Experienced business leaders would really help this organization. Arrogant doctors are impossible to collaborate with and therefore, it is a tough place for middle managers in support services roles.

Cons

Toxic, hostile, incompetent management and HR. This entire corporation is a dumpster fire. They enforce and protect abusers and kick out the good employees who complain about the abuse.
