Pros

There is definitely the possibility of growth within Bozzuto, specifically on the apartment property side. With enough show of " dedication" to the job and good placement at a decent community, you can find yourself in a position of authority rather quickly (after 1 year). You could be promoted from leasing consultant to leasing manager if you show that you will execute the tasks well dependent on your work ethic in your more subordinate role.

Cons

Unless you are in a top position in the company like Property Manager, Regional Manager, Senior VP, etc, your salary will be rather low for the amount of work required. At Bozzuto you are required to do more for less and do it with a smile. They love to talk about "the Bozzuto way" and that is achieved by doing endless online trainings that do not really make you any better at your job as the only way to truly learn is by doing. There are a lot of pointless meetings, meeting that should truly be had with higher ups, by they dump all of that on all of the leasing consultant/APM/PMs. They have a "Bozzuto Awards Ceremony" which as a standalone event is nice, but when you realize that they are using everything else in the world except for an increase in pay to acknowledge good work, it feels like the work is being done in vein. If you want to go up to corporate then stick it out if you can, but if not it's definitely not worth it financially. Terrible benefits though, Cigna is the worst!

I truthfully cannot think of any except that they have so many properties so promotions may come quicker.

Cons

Terrible work life balance Terrible pay If you have conservative views you will not fit They took over and cut the staff by 30% They act like a woke company but are the biggest bigots

Quickly promoted (to a dead end position) Health insurance is great Buildings nicely maintained

Cons

No matter how well you perform, whether or not you move up is totally up to your manager. There is no work/life balance; non-salaried employees are not compensated for working over 40 hours. There is blatant favoritism. Diversity is a farce; well-qualified employees of color are promoted at a significantly lower rate than white employees.
