Pros

Bozzuto is truly a company of culture and class. Not only have I found the perfect career opportunity but have also found colleagues who feel more like family. I’m eternally grateful for my recruiter Joe, who introduced me to Bozzuto at a time of so much uncertainty in my professional career. From my first interaction during the recruiting process to my first week, I was treated with such respect and appreciation that reflects Bozzuto’s company culture. I highly recommend Bozzuto to anyone interested in a career in hospitality/property management/sales.

Cons

Weekend hours are required but that’s expected with the hospitality industry. Although you do get one weekend off per month.

Pros

The pros would be the paid time off, cleaning crew, and the view.

Cons

The cons would be work culture, management, and expectations. Management says they’re there for you but never have the time. They tend to hide in their office to avoid doing their job. So as long as you schmooze the PM you will have a delightful work experience. The work culture is toxic and tiring. Events are mandatory and highly incentivized. Expectations are high for the pay and treatment one receives. Recognition is low especially if you’re the type to go above and beyond. Won’t compliment when you’re doing good but quick to criticize when you’ve made a mistake. The way of the bozzuto hiring game is refer all your friends and get bonus pay. This translates to working with coworkers who are all friends outside of work and only show up to goof off, socialize, and gossip. At the property I worked at fake smiles and passive aggressive vibes were complimentary. When I was first hired I was happy and excited. Then a couple of people were transferred and management changed. The site became more toxic and disorganized. The pandemic and how Bozzuto handled it was an eye opener.

Pros

Great people from top to bottom Wonderful PTO Will try to do their best to find a new home for you if the building you are at sells Benefits Bozzuto listens forum

Cons

Very slow to hire new help on the maintenance side of things Never get time to use PTO nor get paid for the amount you have over the maximum carry over limit Upper management is in the process of redefining the service managers role It takes time, a lot of time for someone to hear you. Keep repeating your ideas if you believe in them, eventually it will be listened to. They give the residents way too much slack just to keep the online rating score high at the expense of you. "Family serving family" is the motto. unless you have a family, because you rarely get to see them.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and for your service at Bozzuto. I’m very sorry to hear of your frustrations, however, your honest feedback is always welcome. I truly appreciate our discussion around training and efficiencies of programs we are using. I’d love to continue to discuss your thoughts around this so that we can tighten up our processes to ensure the best use of your time is on what is most important. Also, please know that we encourage you to use your PTO. Spending time with your family and unplugging is so important. I encourage you to reach out to me if you are having issues with scheduling your time, I’m happy to talk through it with you. With gratitude, Julie Thompson, Sr. Vice President
