Pros

The Bozzuto culture is evident from the moment a new employee walks through the corporate office door. Not only are new hires met with smiles and an extensive week-long training program, senior management takes the time to come talk to new hires and explain their connection to The Bozzuto Group. As an intern, I was challenged, but I always felt supported from my coworkers and managers. Additionally, I was able to see how the culture and people of Bozzuto stand by what they say. Their core values are seen through each aspect of the company, from the lowest to the highest level employee. It was a pleasure to work for such an upstanding company.

Cons

The only con that I found frustrating was the discrepancies between different software programs that I was required to use. I was not always given log-ins or instructions on how to use such programs so had to rely heavily on my coworkers for help.

Thank you for your recent submission to Glassdoor. We are pleased to hear that your intern experience with us was ‘The Way to Go’ and that you saw us living our core values. We are also glad that your co-workers were available to provide you guidance as you navigated the different software programs. We hope to see you back after graduation!

Pros

I have never experienced such a friendly corporate culture within a large real estate company. Usually, the vibe is stoic and serious. Bozzuto people are very professional but down to earth. The desire for promotions is welcomed. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I have had working anywhere.

Cons

If you are working in on the property management side of the business it will not be a cake walk especially if you work at a less premier property. The hours will be long (including weekends). The plus is the company intentionally tries to hire genuinely "nice people" so even with long hours at least you will be working with people you like. The pay is ok not stellar. It also seems a bit more difficult to transition from property management to corporate.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to us. We are delighted to hear that you thought this was one of your best working experiences and that you found our employees professional and friendly. Tom always says, “We hire nice people.” Weekend work is a common practice in the property management and hospitality industries as we are committed to providing the highest level of service to our communities seven days a week. Employees who work weekends are able to enjoy two days off every work week. We appreciate your hard work for us and wish you the best.

Pros

Awesome culture; fun environment and great people to work with. Pay is very generous. You come across a lot of unique experiences that will be very useful in your career, whether you stick with Property Management or not!

Cons

Due to politics, you may not get the promotion you wanted when you want it. At times, you may not even be given credit you deserve.
