Pros

I have been with The Bozzuto Group for a year now and i must say the company is growing at a very fast rate. Corporate training is great because they really prepare you for you're position on site. At least when you are doing Sales or Concierge.

Cons

The biggest Cons are brain dead management on the sites. Managers need more training. I guess no one really cares about that unless it's an A property. It's all about who you know in this company not how hard you work. Don't believe the hype about promoting from within that will only happen if upper management likes you.

Pros

Good benefits, overall friendly people work here

Cons

The company is going through some growing pains as it rapidly expands in the greater Boston area. I don't think my experience was typical, but it was not an enjoyable one. I was placed at a property that was understaffed, with a completely overwhelmed/incompetent property manager, and the upper management let the situation fester for almost an entire year. There seems to be a disconnect between some property sites and the corporate office in DC.

Thank you very much for writing a review. We are incredibly fortunate to have experienced tremendous growth that enables us to provide our employees with many opportunities to develop and advance in their careers . Weekend work is common practice in the property management and hospitality industries as we are committed to providing the highest level of service to our communities 7-days a week. Employees who work weekends are able to enjoy 2 days off every work week. We are always looking for ways to improve and should you wish to share more information on your experience or provide any suggestions, please feel free to contact our employee hotline at 301-683-7134.

Pros

Bozzuto is a great company with strong customer service. The training process is extensive, and I felt very prepared by the time I started selling to prospective renters. Compensation is decent for entry level employees, and great benefits package. Sales incentives are always fun.

Cons

Working in property management is difficult for work/life balance. You are required to work weekends and usually expected to stay late. It's really the luck of the draw as to whether you have a good direct manager or not. I enjoyed my team, however, my coworker was continuously given (and accepted) credit for projects I completed.
