Pros

There is opportunity to advance financially when the company is doing well.

Cons

There are not a great deal of holidays. Depending on the department, you may work a lot of overtime. Overtime is compensated for, though.

Pros

You do not need much experience to get a position. You are given all the tools to be a successful sales person. Small office environment. You actually do work with people face to face and do not sit behind a desk all day.

Cons

The pay is almost impossible to live on. If you work at a new or popular community you are lucky if you work 40 hours a week and get the chance to sit down on a Saturday or Sunday. Or you are stuck at a site that see no action (and thus no commissions). Working weekends (at least 3 a month). Dealing with constant complaints from bills to maintenance requests can be very tiresome after a few days. This position has an extremely high turn over rate, so it's likely that you will be training someone within your first few months even when you are not fully trained. Additionally, you will likely have to fill the role of the Assistant Property Manager when they are out (or when you are left without one).

Pros

I am shocked with some of the negative reviews. I started with Bozzuto almost 10 years ago and am very happy here. The bonus plan pays based on job and property performance. If you are doing your job and the property runs succesfully, you are definetely rewarded. If the property does not make its budget, bonuses are paid on a lower scale. I have been here through several bonus programs and the current bonus program is my favorite and I believe the most fair. Properties that have low resident turnover and control their expenses (which every team member plays a part in) are rewarded with the higher bonus amounts as they should be. Best advice- work hard to get promoted! Caring Senior Management- Tom Bozzuto makes every effor to learn every employees names and ask about their families and personal lives when he visits the sites. I have also worked for many different Property Managers at some point. They are all different. Discount on apartment rent is a huge plus and benefit on top of your annual salary.

Cons

Health benefits are expensive, not a lot of dental insurance annually but I dont think many companies give a high amount of dental insurance either.
