      Starting out at Bozzuto - High Expecations are a Mirror

      Pros

      1) Base pay and commission are quite good for the industry. Base 50k sets a good pay floor, and $150-200 commission per lease is fantastic if your sales are strong. 2) Health benefits are quite good: Their highest-tier health benefits package is $130/mo and has only 20% co-pay in rare cases where you even have a co-pay. Health Insurance network is Cigna. 3) Stupidly nice communities. Getting prospects in the door for tours is the only obstacle to garnering interest. 4) Bozzuto's culture is nearly unmatched in the industry, and it's telling that the company's email letterhead happily declares "NAMED A TOP WORKPLACE BY THE WASHINGTON POST SEVEN YEARS IN A ROW" and" NAMED #1 IN THE US FOR ONLINE REPUTATION SEVEN YEARS IN A ROW" at the bottom of every email.

      Cons

      * Base 20% on-site living discount. Could be higher, especially with how expensive their communities are - I was offered 50% discount with Greystar, and their communities are not quite Class-A living. * The myriad of benefits and good pay is balanced by the level of expectation they have for employees. They prize zeal and compassionate service, and without either of those you won't be a good fit for the culture nor pace of work.

      Good Money, consistent workload. Professional company.

      Cons

      Residents can be rude, depending on the building you work in. Keep in mind that a lot of peoples entitlement comes out when they are wealthy.

      Exceptional Company and Corporate Culture

      Pros

      The People! At all levels, the company functions as a family serving families. Integrity, empowerment and lots of trust amongst your peers. Excellence is rewarded and the company opportunities are growing! Diversity and inclusion are foundational at Bozzuto and participation in the company's multiple employee resource groups allow for a lot of sharing, learning and bonding. Benefits are extremely competitive. Every year they are reviewed and enhanced with a real focus on employee wellness and unique offerings (legal assistance, enhanced emergency expense coverages, etc. for instance). Growth! As a national company, new opportunities are popping up weekly. Lots of ways to map out a career for those looking to grow and/or move!
