-PTO is generous -Pay is competitive for the industry -Nice offices to work in for the most part -Friendly coworkers usually -Lots of room for growth, they almost always promote from within -PM/GMs and senior management are accessible -Bozzuto Listens platform -CEO seems like a nice guy, approachable -Company is expanding -Good communication from leadership -Lots of employee recognition -Very diverse -The culture is a good one, everyone is generally very nice and competent

Cons

-Low starting base pay as an SMA in DC, potentially for decent commission though -401k match is very weak, not sure why it is so low -Your team can make or break your overall experience. I have had great teams and not so great teams. It's hard to control that but at least you can move properties or reach out to HR. -Budget limitations, you have no control over -Commission is both a pro and a con. It varies every month, but it is also great to get. -Yes, you work 3 weekends a month as an SMA. Most employees are only an SMA 1-2 years before being promoted or leaving the company. It sucks but you pay your dues.

Cons

Not much, but working in the mailroom can be frustrating at times especially when you have to cater to resident's needs.

Pros

The PTO policy is generous. Bozzuto generally hires nice people so there is very little drama in the office.

Cons

There is no way to get a raise unless to jump from job to job. I have been at the same site for a several years and have not received anything more than a 3% COL raise. I get great reviews and the property is well preforming. The 401k is also bare bones.

Bozzuto recognizes how important personal time away from the office is and encourages all employees to utilize PTO. I appreciate your feedback on compensation and can guarantee that what you are suggesting with regard to performance based salary increases has been a recent topic for the executive team.
