Pros

The people are very nice and friendly and the location is great.

Cons

Your required reading for this review is literally every other single review for the Chicago office. Here's the greatest hits: lack of vision and direction from management (or, even better, CONFLICTING vision and direction), micromanaging, low morale and poor benefits. This is a traditional Midwestern company opening up an office in the heart of downtown Chicago but refusing to offer benefits that are fairly typical of downtown offices. You want the big city talent, you gotta pay the big city prices! Management is so focused on immediate short-term goals that they fail to understand the problems pervading the company are deep in the foundation. Check out some reviews from 2015-2016. Those same problems are still persisting despite the entire office being made up of completely different people. Foundational problems require a lot of TIME and do NOT have immediate results. This is lost (or deliberately ignored) by management so most of the Chicago office has to keep slapping a bandaid on top of another bandaid and hope that they're not here for when the problem festers into an infection you can't ignore. You've got the delightful problem of the office doing poorly due to issues that far outdate every single employee currently there, so upper management refuses to invest (read: money) in the office, resulting in diminishing results and poorer performances....which can best be solved by actually investing (read again: money) which management doesn't want to do! It's an never-ending problem.

Pros

Brady has a great culture that encourages collaboration and the empowerment of employees.

Cons

Brady as a company won't grow at double-digit rates but the growth it has will be steady and consistent.
