Pros

I love some of my co-workers. I've made friends for life working here.

Cons

Inept leadership who expect things to be done one way and then tell you to do it another way. They set you up for failure with unobtainable goals that affect bonuses and your ability to transfer to another department or get promoted. Internal hiring process is a joke. I had one of my friends leave because it took 3 months for HR to get an interview scheduled for a job in another department. Another friend of mine in customer service was asked by the management team to apply for the sales job opening because of her product knowledge and 20 years of experience with this company. After having a great interview, she was told she didn't get the job because she barely missed her goals (see above) and they would revisit with her in 2 months. 2 months passed and after being nearly perfect in her goals, she was told she would have to re-apply and re-interview with no guarantee she would get the job.... Communication is piss-poor between departments. You are treated more like a machine and are nothing more than a name on a piece of paper. Talented individuals are leaving because there is no future for them.

Pros

The front line people are definitely the best part of Brady. For the most part the teams are hard working and have the best interests of the company at heart.

Cons

Lack of direction, many of the teams (hard working) are spinning their wheels working on projects that may or may not have alignment with company goals (mainly, communication is poor so nobody knows the goals). Typically, this is not identified until long after the project is complete. Lack of communication, communication is a one way street, top-down. While the new CEO has stated he wants better communication, that's where it stops. His executive team can't be bothered with this type of work. Toxic culture, Sales does pretty much anything it wants without regard to the bottom line, support staffs are undermanned and minimally trained yet expected to provide "Best in Class" service and management hides in meetings or their offices.
