Pros

If you’ve worked for a notable company, they will seek you out first and it’s pretty simple to get through their hoops to get hired. That’s it. That’s the pro.

Cons

Brady does not command the respect nor does it have the prestige required to have the rules it does. No telework? Read these reviews! This company will most likely in the next 5 years either go under, or will (with its tail between its legs) start offering telework when it’s too late and those who have been in the industry will have written Brady off for what it is- a third class company trying to rule and regulate its way to the scraps of a second class company.

Pros

- Most people are very nice. - Salary was competitive.

Cons

Most of this review is likely unique to manager specifically and may not reflect other managers or departments. I was excited to join the team and grow my career but the toll on my mental health was not worth it, paired with inappropriate comments about my personal life and family. My experience was : Lack of flexibility - no work from home (though some get to do it under the table. It’s all hush hush), but if you’re new you absolutely cannot wfh or use PTO you’ve earned without being made to feel bad about asking). - Mental health is not a priority. - Not accommodating to those who may need quiet areas to work, or alternative learning methods. Met with judgment instead of accommodation. I expressed I was struggling with the training menthols (lack of) and was told to “Just deal with it” - Revolving door- many employees leaving for more flexible positions. - Zero Covid precautions. They have spray bottles in the conference rooms that are dried up. Felt very judged for wanting to wipe things down. - Cockroaches for coworkers- literal cockroaches crawling across the desks. Very gross. (See why I wanted to wipe things down? Not only because of Covid!) - Minimal training, lack of support (depends on manager). Sink or swim. - Very old school ways of doing work, not progressive in anyway. Very conservative company with cliques of longtime workers. I found it incredibly difficult to insert myself into my role without feeling some form of passive aggressive judgment. Do it their way or it’s wrong. It may not be this way for all departments, but even if I had a different manager the overall company views and refusal to keep up with mental health awareness and healthy working environments made it a place I was thrilled to leave.
