small org 70% friendly and engaging staff a handful of superior employees that add to the reputation and experience to include faculty both full-time and adjunct, executive leadership, and staff easy work

Cons

no room for growth poor technology non-competitive wages average benefits mediocre managers with lack of any leadership skills no perks - unless you want to earn a degree there (subpar value) operates like a for-profit educational institution narrow-minded mid-level managers inability to progress like other universities eventually will end up an only online school (refer back to for-profit) lack of communication silo operational practices lack of employee appreciation in any regard

There wasn't much positive about this environment.

Cons

There was never an instance of coaching or mentoring during my 30-day probationary employment. The 1:1s between me and my manager were brief and always seemed positive or encouraging- but I was terminated right before my 30 days were up. I felt blindsided. I thought I was doing a good job.
