Mostly local work. Decent pay.

Cons

-Expected to be available outside of work. -Last minute changes (typical with construction industry) -Inspecting things other than concrete and compaction with zero training. Looked like an incompetent technician in the field.

-You learn a lot -Hands on experience -Great people -Decent pay with a chance to work a lot overtime -You get to work on a variety of different projects -Good company morals

-The only con I can think of is the weird hours you could end up working
