Pros

Cons

scaling the company and product takes a lot of work which requires more effort than a 9-5. this is a feature not a bug for me though.

Pros

* Truly inspiring lunch vendors * Very transparent all hands, managers, and overall company culture * Took a while to become agile, but the engineering management took many employee's advice to heart and took it on. Very streamlined and easy to get things done. * You're given LOADS of time to work on personal projects through hackdays and general technical leadership

Cons

* A pretty high profile departure from our culture/outings leadership has left a noticeable void. The new folks are trying, but have some big shoes to fill! * Lots of new faces at the company but seemingly less ways to mingle with them. See the above point.

Pros

- Best product out there that continues to get better - Some of these best/smartest people that I have worked with - A great work hard / play hard balance that is rewarding and fun - Top leadership is hands down some of the best people I have worked with. They have kept such a long term view on how to run the company even though some of them are young. We exist in a crowded space with tons of startup competitors and they just approach running the company with a lot more structure and responsibility than others. It’s sometimes easy for startups to make knee jerk short term decisions but Braze leadership is not afraid to make the harder long term decision that will keep the company around for years to come.

Cons

- Can be a fast pace environment that isn’t for everyone and requires being receptive to change. Not an issue for me but something you should be prepared for - The market is big, complex, and crowded and it can require patience and long term outlook. Again something I think of as a positive but someone looking to make a short term sales gig might not find this to be the right fit.
